Canceled registration for events requiring payment will result in a credit to your account. Credited funds remain available in your account for the remainder of the current membership year, if unused these funds are forfeited. Credits cannot be applied to membership renewal fees. You can view your credit balance at any time in the "Payment/Credit History" section of your membership profile.

Spring Fling

April 10, 2021

BPC welcomed Spring with our safe outdoor event at Pastorino Farms over two weekends. Kids were thrilled to experience the petting zoo, pony ride, train ride, and hay ride! Beverages, snacks, and pizza were such a treat for the families.

Stroller Running Group

April 3, 2021

Open to all our running parents, the group meets on the first and third Saturday for a 5k!  Motivate and train together to help meet our goals. We meet at the Bridge between Ryder Park and Seal Point, running out 1.5mi and back (taking your own pace). After each run we meet back at the picnic table near the bridge and let the kids run in the grass.

BPC Board Families Easter Egg Hunt

The Burlingame Parents board members and their families celebrated spring with an Easter egg hunt. Kids and adults enjoyed fun in the sun at Washington Park. Just another perk of being a BPC board member, which is always open to all!

First Time Parents Pedicure

First time parents were pampered with a pedicure at Glamour Nail Salon!  They enjoyed an outdoor socially-distanced pedicure, while mingling with other parents.

Chinese New Year Book Reading

In honor of Chinese New Year, author Oliver Chin held a live reading via ZOOM for BPC members and guests. The Year Of the Ox Tales From the Chinese Zodiac is from his award winning collection of books. Coloring and activity sheets were also provided to the kids.


Valentine's Day Garland Craft Kit

Kids got creative and spread love with a fun craft kit. This DIY kit included everything needed to make a 6ft heart garland, complete with stickers, googly eyes and more!

Lightsaber Academy

January 30, 2021

Children ages 6+ were invited to a FREE introductory class to the LightSaber Academy, hosted by the USSD Burlingame. Each child learned to wield a lightsaber, using the proper Jedi-techniques. This class took place in the evening, to see the lightsaber glow in the dark! 

Diya Decorating

Families ushered in the "Festival of Lights" by decorating their own diyas (clay lamps) at home. BPC provided diya decorating kits, that included diyas, decorating supplies and instructions. They celebrating their creativity by sharing photos of their finished clay lamps.

First Time Parents Meet-Up

First time mamas joined at San Mateo's Central Park for a socially distanced meet-up while enjoying a cup of Philz coffee. Members had the opportunity to meet other first-time parents. They loved sharing advice, stories, and challenges of first year parenting.

Halloween Pumpkin Patch

Our annual pumpkin patch is always a hit with BPC families, and this year's event continued to be a hit. We had a great turnout at ABC Tree Pumpkin Patch, where families dressed in their halloween best. Kids took home a goodie bag, free mini pumpkin, and a professional family photo.

Barre Class in Central Park

Barre3 led the full-body workout class in San Mateo's Central Park. The class combined strength conditioning, cardio, and mindfulness to leave parents feeling balanced in body and empowered from within.

Stroller Walk at Crystal Springs

Parents had the chance to mingle and enjoy a gentle walk along the beautiful Sawyer Camp Trail at Crystal Springs Reservoir. The beautiful 1.0 mile route was completely paved and stroller friendly.

Coastal Cleanup

38 members joined the Coastal Cleanup Crew on a beautiful morning to help our community. Parents brought little ones to learn valuable lessons and get plenty of exercise for the best nap day. All our hard working families made our annual beach cleanup a success!

Scavenger Hunt

Bad air quality can't stop the fun! After rescheduling and reformatting the event to be 'drive-through', families still enjoyed our scavenger hunt, which showcased kids favorite characters; from Thomas the Train... to Brown Bear, Brown Bear... to Dr. Seuss. Kids and parents loved solving the clues.

Flower Arranging Class

August 9, 2020

It was a lovely day for flower arranging with the BPC Board. The group socially distanced in Washington Park, to learn how to make beautiful bouquets. It was a great way to mentally decompress and recharge from the week.
